Blade sizes
So that you can adapt the playing characteristics of your table tennis blade even more precisely to your playing style and preferences, you get each blade in 4 different blade sizes.
From the small and light blade in size S to the extra large defensive shape DEF.
This is how blade sizes affect the playing behavior of a table tennis blade:
Vibration behavior is crucial
High-frequency swinging blades accelerate the ball better than low-frequency swinging blades
The blade size influences the oscillation frequency
To put it simply: the smaller the blade, the higher the oscillation frequency, the faster the blade
Influences the balance
Control the balance of your club – large blades shift the center of gravity towards top-heaviness, blades with small blades tend towards grip-heaviness
Conclusion: Table tennis blades with a small blade are faster than table tennis bats with a large blade
You can adjust the blade size to control the speed and balance. of your racket. You can find more information here.
Blade size S
High speed
A small blade makes the blade faster
Tends to be handle-heavy
Due to the small blade size, these blades are somewhat heavy to handle. This makes the already very low weight feel even lighter Tip: You can counteract this by choosing a lightweight handle material
Greatly enlarged sweet spot
There are no disturbing vibrations, which makes the ball impact very sensitive
Well suited for children
Due to the lower weight
Blades in size S are 150mm wide and 153mm long
Blade size M
High speed
A blade in blade size M is approx. 5 % slower than in size B. S
Well-balanced
The slightly enlarged clubface shifts the center of gravity a little more towards the middle of the blade. You can also control the balance by choosing the right grip shape and grip material.
Slightly enlarged sweet spot
The sweet spot is also slightly enlarged with this blade size, which requires a good ball impact point. Vibrations are still well dampened here
Well suited for offensive players
Good combination of high speed and low weight
Blades in size M are 151mm wide and 156mm long
Blade size L
Slightly slower, but better to control
The speed decreases slightly as the blade size increases, but the blade is much easier to control
Tends to be top-heavy
A blade with a large blade size is usually a little top-heavy, but this can be compensated for very well with the appropriate grip scales
Slightly reduced sweet spot
Depending on the blade and vibration behavior, the vibrations increase slightly, which reduces the sweet spot somewhat
Well suited for all-round and defensive players
Easier to control at a moderate speed
Blades in size L are 152mm wide and 159mm long
Blade size DEF
Medium speed
Precisely tailored to the requirements of defensive players
Top-heavy
Makes playing high rotation balls very easy
Large sweet spot
In defensive play, the large scoring zone forgives many mistakes
Ideal for defensive players
Classic defensive blade, slightly egg-shaped, which brings a lot of control to the game
Blades in size DEF are 156mm wide and 162mm long
Blade size C-PEN
Our Chinese penholders have a sheet size of 150 x 162mm
